She is an intelligent, feisty, and loving grandmother and wonderful friend to her neighbors. Her energy knows no bounds and is equal to a woman half her age. She invites her equally vibrant, intelligent and lovely granddaughter, Poppi Parker (33) to visit her at the fish camp to help her solve a mysterious death of one of the neighbor's wives. Poppi is a former Detective of the Tampa PD and is currently working as an independent Private Investigator. She arrives at Whispering Pines and is soon drug into the crazy day-to-day activities while trying to discover how the wife died - or was killed. About the Author
I was retired, widowed, 76 years young and floundering around for something to fill my days. I revitalized my painting hobby during Covid and ended up with over 100 paintings. I filled my walls and gave paintings to every friend and family member I had with no other place to put them. What to do now? I had always dreamed of being an author -- my free time was reading many - many books. When my favorite authors weren't producing new books fast enough, I created Lucy and Poppi in my mind. They had all of my favorite characteristics and their adventures kept me up late at night dreaming about them. I finally decided that they needed to come out and play. I have now published three ebooks in the Whispering Pines, Lucy and Poppi Book Series with Book 4 in the works. It just proves that you it is never too late to start something new.
